“ZARTNIR” Monitoring Progress Report of May 2011

During May 2011 journalists from “Geghama” TV (local TV in Gegharkunik region) filmed a reportage covering activities of “Zartnir” Computer Centers both in Gegharkunik and Tavush regions. Journalists visited computer centers, met with Computer Centers’ owners, administrators, and trainers as well as with costumers. The reportage will be broadcasted by local TVs as an advertisement in Gegharkunik and Tavush regions. It will be uploaded to www.ruralarmenia.com website for the next report.

Currently GCCI in close cooperation with computer centers’ owners takes the following steps to achieve high level income and promote “Zartnir” brand:

  1. Developing game servers.
    1. Developing current game servers. A new website currently is in development process, which will introduce statistic information about gamers, including current position, total scores, etc. The game tournaments will be organized through the new website.
    2. Creating new game servers based on Computer centers’ gamers suggestions.
  2. Certificating training courses.
    1. A training certification mechanism has been designed with participation of Computer Centers’ owners and trainers. The trainings are being held by the same module in each computer center. After trainings GCCI organizes examinations and participants receive award certification.

  5. Computers and accessories sale:
    1. GCCI in cooperation with Computer Centers is looking for suppliers in abroad.
    2. A preliminary agreement has been acquired with “ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK” CJSC to sign an agreement with the Computer Centers’ owners in order to sell computers and accessories by credit on sale.
  6. Creating community websites:
    1. The strategies of creating community websites is being worked out with the Computer Center owners of Bagratashen and Vaghashen communities.
