I am a physic -engineer. I worked as a manager of the technical operations in Alaverdi Metal Company for 14 years. From 2002 to 2005 I worked as a vice-director in Rentgen Institute. Since 2005 I live in Shushi.
I also have experience in the business. I had a retail shop for 2 years.

Description of Business Idea

I am planning to start producing a liquid salt. The product is a new for market. It has some differences and advantages compeering with iodine salt. It is a saturated solution of the salt (Na+H2O). It will be sold in plastic packages.

Market Analysis and market share

The salt is a good for everyday use. The population now uses big and no work-out salt or iodine salt. Each family monthly uses 1 kg salt and spends 120-150 drams for it. The restaurant monthly uses more than 4 kg salt and spends 500 drams for it. Thus, monthly in Shushi and Stepanakert is spent more than 2 million drams.
Having accounted that liquid salt is a new product for the market and the population will take it difficulty the market share will be small. For the first year I plan to produce monthly 2200 package 5 liter liquid salt. The main market will be Stepanakert.

Competition Analysis

The main and only competitor for the liquid salt is an iodine salt. We can not say that our competitor is the company producing the iodine salt. The company is very big and it has monopole position in the market.
